Testimony - Oregano Oil
In 2005 my wife Chiara had two impacted teeth. She went to a dentist and was told that she would need to have her teeth taken out under a general anaesthetic. We prayed about it and we felt that we would trust God to give us another alternative.
Due to Chiara's extensive years of health food experience, having run a whole food business for approximately twenty years, she felt led to search natural products.
Chiara, who is Italian, to her great surprise, when she studied the different herbs and essential oils, discovered that the oregano herb has been used since the Biblical times as an anti-inflammatory, and as a natural painkiller.
The name "Oregano" originally comes from a Grecian word that means "joy of the mountains" because it was used as a cure against depression. The Oregano herb was used by the Greeks and throughout the Roman Empire as a cure for many ailments.
This new knowledge spurred Chiara on to research the oregano oil in much more detail, during which, she discovered Oregano was also used to relieve the pain of tooth-ache.
She began to apply the Oregano oil topically on to her impacted teeth.
When she went back to the dentist a year later, he told her there wasn't any sign of impacted teeth and she did not need to go to hospital to be operated on.
Chiara has been pain free and she has had no more recurring teeth problems since then.
